Marinated Heirloom Tomato and Bocconcini Salad

  • 1 medium Heirloom tomato, sliced into wedges

  • 1/3 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1/3 cup bocconcini cheese

  • 2 tbsp julienned basil

  • 2 tsp oregano leaves

  • 1/4 tsp red chili flakes

  • Salt and pepper

  • 3 tbsp Herb & Olive CBD EVOO or Organic EVOO


Step 1: Cut tomatoes and basil

Cut cherry tomatoes in halves. Here's a nice trick on doing this in one easy cut. Slice your heirloom tomato into wedges, and julienne (thin slices) your basil.

Step 2: Plate ingredients

In a shallow bowl or platter, arrange the tomatoes, and bocconcini cheese. Scatter the basil and oregano leaves over top, and sprinkle with red chili flakes, cracked sea salt, and pepper.

Step 3: Drizzle with EVOO and let the ingredients marinate

Drizzle Herb & Olive CBD EVOO or Organic EVOO over the top, and let everything sit for at least 30 minutes before eating. Enjoy a nice glass of natural wine while you wait.
